About Me

As a child I noticed eye colour and subtle expression, I loved to sketch what I observed. However, I didn't lift a paint brush until 2021 whilst on a career break from my hospital job to care for my son I attended a recreational art course as respite. In 2022 my son passed and unable to return to healthcare setting I decided to study, achieving an HND in Graphic Design. I am now going into my final year in a Bachelor's of Art Creative Imaging Degree.

Art has helped me heal. I will always grieve the loss of my Son Frankie, however, creating art and spending time in Gods creation has allowed the light to shine again where once there was only darkness.

I paint in oil and acrylics. I have a preference for impasto and the essence of life it creates. My paintings are born from layering of colours and perceived energy.
